Sano-hidesato matsuri is held in the central city every early August. It is one of the biggest events for summer in Sano. People are totally excited by so many events, such as Hidesato style horseback archery, carrying of miniature shrines, playing festival music, provincial tour, townspeople's dance, Sano-hidesato-drum and so on.
Sanomaru who is Sano's original character to get a victory by Yuru-Chara ® grand prix 2013 joins various events in the city and amuses a lot of participants.
