Sanno Festival is held for 2days on 14th and 15th April at Hie shrine.
It is called “Takayama Festival” in cluding “Hachiman Festival” which is done in autumn.
This festival is the one of the most beautiful japansese festival. because it is so rich in pageantry.
Sanno Festival is so gorgeous like a world of typical japanese picture nishikie. It has a performance of gimmicks “Modoshi Guruma” and yatai called “Moving Yomei-mon Gate”.
Because of grown in the cold environment, there is something noble and elegant about this festival.
