Gorgeous harmony of overnight Castle and cherry trees

This is the land of the legend where Kinoshita Toukichirou (later known as Toyotomi Hideyoshi) built a castle overnight-- “Legend of the One Night Castle. Along the Sai river, around 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees color the bank.

Stretching over 2 kilometers, the row of cherry trees and the castle weave together to create striking-ly beautiful scenery. Besides the March 24th-April 10th cherry blossom festival that is held, the lighting up of the trees at night is a fantastical must see event.
