Called the "mobile art museum", extravagant parade floats proceed together with a song and dance competition for children done on one of the parade carts. This festival is a staple of springtime for Nagahama.
ne of the three greatest "stage cart" festivals- Nagahama's jubi-lant float festival. Nagahama's castle Lord, the famous Toyotomi Hideyoshi, rejoiced over the birth of his son and gave a present of gold. The people constructed a festival cart which was used and thus this festival was given birth.
