This festival commemorates the lord of Anamizu Castle, Nobutsura Hasebe, who also appears in the legendary tale of the Heike. In the afternoon there are ranks of samurai while at night there are leisurely dining boats, sending off of paper lantern boats and a fireworks display.
he parade of the samurai starts from the Anamizu town office. Nearby is the Anamizu historical archive building. At night, Anamizu harbor’s Asunaro plaza becomes the main stage. Besides food booths, there are nearby restaurants with the Noto peninsula bowl, which is great for lunch. The local food is fabulous.
