The road to the shrine is opened up with shops put out by community welfare work places and other businesses, together making a “variety market” besides the other events being held around the shrine.

Nagoshisai is a festival which is built upon a prayer that casts away all the uncleanliness and sin that we unknowingly attract and commit in our daily life. In turn, we are able to go through the summer with a refreshed spirit and healthy body.
